San Juan Diego Catholic High School offers a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum that aims to serve our students’ unique needs. Each student at San Juan Diego Catholic High School (SJDCHS) graduates with the TCCED’s "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma of 30 credits. The demanding coursework required to achieve the "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma prepares students for success in their postsecondary studies.
San Juan Diego Catholic High School seeks to help each student optimize his or her skills. In support of our mission, our caring teachers build strong foundations for academic success. With a 12:1 student-teacher ratio, SJDCHS’s small class sizes ensure a highly personalized instructional experience. Enrichment courses and after-school programs such as tutoring are designed to improve the academic standards of our students.
In addition, San Juan Diego Catholic High School offers exceptional students the opportunity to apply to earn college credit by taking Advanced Placement courses or by participating in Austin Community College's Early College Start program. Among the Advanced Placement courses offered are Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, and United States History.
San Juan Diego Catholic High School is committed to helping all graduating seniors find the right college fit. To facilitate the application process, all senior students take a Senior Seminar class in which they research and apply to colleges, and all students have access to a College Counselor.
