2020 Empowering Our Community Luncheon Recap

We are grateful to everyone who came together on Thursday, March 5th to celebrate our mission and students. The Empowering Our Community Gala Luncheon was a success and we appreciate all of our sponsors and guests.

Together, we raised over $85,000 to support our highly motivated students with an opportunity to earn a Catholic, college preparatory education, enriched by participation in a corporate internship program. With your gifts made at the luncheon, we were also able to secure a $5,000 match by an anonymous donor. You make a difference in our students' lives!

We sincerely thank our guest speaker, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley, for his inspiring message about the importance of positively impacting youth and his passion for public service. During the event, SJDCHS also hosted the Police Activity League/Explorers Program and the APD Recruiting Division.
